NZMATES delivered a short pilot training on solar PV at Ambon State Polytechnic in July 2019, and an MoU for a cooperation to support renewable energy capacities was then signed in September 2019.
NZMATES’ third bi-annual Programme Steering Group (PSG) meeting was recently held on November 3rd virtually due to the on-going pandemic.
In order to strengthen long-term renewable energy capacities in Maluku, NZMATES has engaged with Pattimura University (UNPATTI) since the beginning of the programme.
On February 27th 2020, the second NZMATES PSG meeting was held in Ambon.
On February 28th NZMATES and PLN arranged a visit to a potential PLTS refurbishment site with delegates from EBTKE, BAPPENAS and New Zealand Ambassador Dr. Jonathan Austin.
